FAQs
How many children can you paint in an hour?
On average, I can paint 10–15 full-face designs per hour or 15–20 smaller designs, depending on the complexity. I can also customize the menu to fit your event and guest count.
What ages do you paint?
Face painting is perfect for ages 3 and up! I also love painting teens and adults.
What kind of paints do you use?
I use professional, cosmetic-grade face paints that are specifically made for use on skin. My products are FDA-compliant for cosmetic use and are designed to be gentle on most skin types.
How do I remove face paint?
Warm water, a soft washcloth, and mild soap usually do the trick. Avoid baby wipes or harsh scrubbing, as they can irritate skin. Some hues can cause temporary staining, but will fully wash off within a day or two!
Is face painting safe?
Yes! I follow strict hygiene practices, including:

Clean brushes and sponges between each use

Fresh water throughout the event

Sponges, brushes and paint sprayed with disinfectant alcohol regularly during event

No painting over cuts, rashes, or irritated skin
Do you offer fairy hair?
Yes! Sparkly fairy hair strands are available as an add-on or standalone service and can last for weeks with proper care.
What areas do you serve?
I primarily serve Northern and Central New Jersey, with travel available outside the area for an additional fee.
How much space do you need?
Just a small 6' x 6' area with level ground and shade for outdoor events whenever possible.
Can you work outdoors?
Absolutely! I just ask for protection from direct sun, rain, and strong wind to keep both the paints and guests comfortable.
How far in advance should I book?
The earlier the better! Popular weekends and holidays can fill several months in advance.
What if I need to cancel?
Include whatever your cancellation policy is (for example, deposits are non-refundable but transferable with notice).
Can adults get painted too?
Absolutely! Face painting isn't just for kids. It's a hit at festivals, company events, Halloween parties, fundraisers, and weddings.
Do you carry insurance?
Yes! I am fully insured and can provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI) upon request.
What if it rains?
If your event is outdoors, we can work under a covered area. If severe weather makes painting impossible, we'll discuss rescheduling options based on availability.
Can guests choose any design?
Yes! Guests can choose from a display of fun designs, or I can create something unique inspired by their favorite colors or characters.

How long does fairy hair last?
With proper care, fairy hair can last 2–8 weeks (or even longer!) because each strand is tied to an individual hair and sheds naturally with it.
